HDPE’s
Track events begin in the spring and end in the fall. Colorado boasts numerous tracks, ranging from easier options like La Junta to more challenging circuits such as RMR’s signature High Plains Raceway. Participants from AMR, RMR, and surrounding regions make repeated journeys to experience these exciting tracks.
AMR typically schedules events at three locations: Pueblo, PPIR, and La Junta. These events are often paired with additional activities like dinners, movies, parade laps, and more, making them great fun for the entire family. And don’t miss the traditional “Beer Thirty” celebration after the track goes cold!

Tours
AMR has rallies and tours planned throughout the year, often in conjunction with Cars and Coffee. These can be half-day, full-day, or even overnight trips. There is nothing like the sight of thirty or more Porsches going down the road and waving at the friendly crowd as we enter a town. Check the calendar and “Announcements & News” on the home page to see the latest tour registrations and destinations.

Socials
AMR hosts a variety of social events throughout the year, including membership socials, new member socials, ladies’ luncheons, and an annual Christmas party at venues across Colorado Springs. These events are extremely popular, often filling quickly and requiring a waitlist due to venue size limitations.
Our monthly membership socials feature raffles for door prizes, and attendees have a chance to qualify for a grand prize — usually enough for a new set of tires — awarded at the annual Christmas party.
We invite you to join us for great food, great fellowship, and lots of fun — and don’t forget to RSVP early!

Special Events
AMR participates in a variety of PCA and non-PCA activities throughout the year. Events such as the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC — which features many Porsche entries, including some from AMR members), car shows, Zone 9 events, charity drives, and more are captured here.
- 50th Anniversary Party: Alpine Mountain Region Porsche Club had a fantastic turnout for our 50th anniversary event.
- 45th Anniversary Picnic (Held on August 8, 2020, at Bear Creek Park. This was AMR’s first social event after a pause due to COVID-19.)
- 2020 HPDE 101 (An HPDE 101 session hosted at Porsche Colorado Springs, attended by 45 AMR and RMR members.)
- 2020 New Member Social (Hosted by Porsche Colorado Springs on February 22, 2020, with over 125 attendees.)
