BOREAS PASS OFF ROAD TOUR
SEPTEMBER 12TH, 2026
Join the Alpine Mountain Region Porsche Club of America for a scenic off-road adventure to historic Boreas Pass! This unique tour offers a change of pace from our traditional driving events, taking us onto one of Colorado’s most beautiful maintained mountain roads while enjoying spectacular mountain scenery, great company, and a relaxed picnic at the summit.
Our day begins at Porsche Colorado Springs, our gracious event sponsor and meeting location, before heading west through Lake George. We’ll travel north along scenic Tarryall Road with a restroom stop at Tarryall Reservoir before continuing west to the historic railroad town of Como. From there, we’ll turn onto Boreas Pass Road and climb to the Black Powder Pass Trailhead near the summit for lunch.
Please bring your own picnic lunch. You’re also welcome (but not required) to bring a snack, side dish, or dessert to share with the group.
After lunch, participants may return to Colorado Springs via the same route or continue on to Breckenridge before making their own way home.
This is a relaxed, social adventure intended to showcase some of Colorado’s beautiful backcountry roads.
