DESCRIPTION:Alpine Mountain Region PCA Scenic Tour to Great Sand Dunes National Park\nSaturday\, August 15\, 2026 \nJoin the Alpine Mountain Region for a scenic summer drive to one of Colorado’s most iconic destinations — Great Sand Dunes National Park. We’ll head south from Colorado Springs on a beautiful drive through the mountains and San Luis Valley\, stop for lunch at Sand Dunes Recreation\, and then continue on to the dunes for the afternoon. \nThis tour is designed to be a fun summer day with fellow PCA members\, combining a scenic drive\, group lunch\, and plenty of time to enjoy the park and surrounding area. \nRegistration Cost \n$60 per person \nAlready have an America the Beautiful or other valid National Park Pass?\nPlease select the “Park Pass Not Needed” registration option during checkout so you are not charged for park admission twice. \nRegistration includes: \n\nLunch at Sand Dunes Recreation\nAdmission to Great Sand Dunes National Park\nTour registration / event costs\n\nTour Schedule \n\n7:30–7:45 AM – Meet at Porsche Colorado Springs\n8:00 AM – Driver’s Meeting\n8:20 AM – First group departs\n8:30 AM – Second group departs\n10:30 AM – Shell stop for fuel/restroom break (20 minutes)\n10:50 AM – Depart Shell\n12:00 PM – Lunch at Sand Dunes Recreation\n1:00 PM – Depart for Great Sand Dunes National Park\n1:30–1:45 PM – Arrive at Great Sand Dunes National Park / board rental area\nAfternoon free to explore the dunes\, rent sandboards or sleds\, hike to Zapata Falls\, or return to Sand Dunes Recreation to enjoy the discounted soaking admission.\n\nLunch at Sand Dunes Recreation \nWe will stop at Sand Dunes Recreation for lunch prior to heading into the park. To keep lunch service smooth for the group\, attendees will select their lunch entrée during registration.
