DESCRIPTION:Pikes Peak Hill Climb Tour \nJoin us on Saturday\, July 11\, 2026 for a very different  AMR tour. We’ll ascend Pikes Peak from a different perspective – that of the drivers who race up America’s Mountain at breakneck speeds. Don’t worry – we will observe all posted speed limits! \nThe tour will start at Porsche Colorado Springs. We’ll talk about the history of this great race\, and then hit the road. We will drive up the mountain\, with stops at key points along the way to get the racer’s perspective and hear some interesting stories. The tour will conclude on the summit\, where we’ll explore the magnificent Summit House\, and (hopefully) sample their world-famous donuts. This tour will not include a formal lunch as we usually do but\, of course\, feel free to informally get together with your Porsche friends either at the Summit House\, or after you make your way back down the mountain. Due to traffic on the mountain this tour will be limited to 25 cars. \nOur host will be AMR’s own Chris Lennon\, past Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner and six-time podium finisher\, who literally “wrote the book on Pikes Peak” with The Peak of Racing.
