Twelve cars took off early Saturday, 26 August from Porsche of Colorado Springs for the 50/50 Poker Rally. All the participants had drawn their first of five cards enroute to Blackhawk. It was a perfect day to drive thru the backroads and mountain of Colorado. We made three more stops along the way at Deckers, Pine Junction, and Evergreen to draw additional cards. We ended at the Ameristar Casino about 3 1/2 hours later where we had a tasty catered Italian buffet, drew our last card, and determined the winners of the rally. A big thanks to Barb Treacy for setting up this event and A.S. Long Racing for sponsoring. Half the proceeds from the rally benefited the Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity.
