Alpine Mountain Region Privacy Policy

This policy supplements the PCA Privacy Policy that can be found in the Region Procedures Manual (RPM) at pca.org.

We will disclose the sources for the personal information we collect or access on our members. We will disclose what measures we take to secure that information. Terms are defined below.

DEFINITIONS OF TERMS

“We”, “us” and “our” refers to the Alpine Mountain Region (AMR) including its Board of Directors, Standing Committee members, and Event Chair members who may collect or access your information. “Others” refers to third-party vendors we use for region operations.

“Personal information” means information about you that we collect or access in connection with your PCA membership. Examples of Personal Information are (but not limited to): information we receive directly from the PCA National Office (may include name, email, phone numbers, personal address, car, etc.), your communications with us, your participation in our region activities, your use of our website, your use of our social media, or any other nonpublic means in which we collect or use information about you. Personal information does not include information that is available from public sources.

THE CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY, AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We DO NOT provide to anyone outside of the AMR any personal information we collect or access about our members, their PCA membership, their interests, their cars, their home or email addresses, their mobile numbers, emergency contacts, their personal information or data. Our members’ personal information is not made available for mailing lists or any businesses, even if they are involved in Porsche® (club or dealership) car related activities. It is not made available to Porsche Cars North America, Porsche, A.G., or any of its affiliate companies. We DO NOT disclose any personal information about you to anyone outside of AMR, except as required by law.

We use information that you provide to MotorsportReg.com (MReg) and DrivingEvals.com solely for the purpose of registering, organizing, and executing our region driving events and/or social events. MReg and Driving Evals provides access controls to protect your personal information and we ensure that administrative access to your MReg and Driving Evals data is restricted to the fewest number of individuals needed for registration, organization, and execution of our region driving and/or social events.

Our members personal information is used within AMR only on a need-to-know basis. For example, we DO NOT provide general members with the personal information about other members. We restrict access to and use of member’s personal information to selected officers, committee members, and others who need to know that information solely for accomplishment of their AMR duties and for no other purpose.  We maintain reasonable safeguards to protect your personal information.

FORMER MEMBERS

If you cease to be an AMR member, we will follow our then-current privacy policies and practices with respect to your personal information.

CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to amend or modify this privacy policy at any time. If we do make a change, we will post a notice on our website and/or newsletter at least 30 days before any changes are implemented.
