AMR hosted its first Women’s Workshop/Ladies Day on 20 May, 2017 the the Pueblo Memorial Airport. Many ladies made their first ever event attendance and we hope that they will become regulars for future AMR events. The day started with breakfast outside followed by three driving exercises; then Loren Southard provided a tech session to help the ladies better understand their cars. After lunch, they moved on to autocross sessions designed to exercised what they had learned that morning. A special thanks to Loren Southard and John Duclos for jumping in at the last minute to assist with the event, Marla Wiseman and Gretchen Long for co-chairing the event (Marla for providing breakfast), Justine Estein with the vision to start and chair this project, and all the volunteers who helped at the event. All the ladies had a great time and expressed that they would like to attend similar events in the future.
